Rishabh Pant has become the most expensive player in the history of the Indian Premier League after the wicketkeeper-batter was sold for $3.2 million to Lucknow Super Giants.

Former Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant sold to Lucknow Super Giants for a massive price of Rs 27 crore, the highest ever bid in the history of the tournament in the IPL 2025 Auction at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah on Sunday.
