We already know, it turns out. While it may not be very well-broadcast, Black Doves was already greenlit for season 2 before season 1 was released, indicating confidence from Netflix that it was going to be a hit, which it was. This was all the way back in August, and that does not happen very often. They must have really liked what they saw.

Even though the Season 1 finale doesn't necessarily leave us with burning questions, it sets up consequential conflicts and looming dangers, some more obvious than others. Helen's vicious hunt for vengeance in Black Doves eventually leads her to a criminal empire that has stealthily taken over London's crime bosses and even expanded to the U.

The new British espionage series Black Doves, starring Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw, debuted with 10.8M CVEs in 4 days, making it the 4th best launch of the year for a new series (excluding limited series). The show has already been renewed for a second season, which is great news.
