Georgia (10-2, 6-2) was the only team to beat Texas during the regular season, leaving Royal-Memorial Stadium with a 30-15 win in October. That was the sixth all-time meeting between the Longhorns and Bulldogs and just the second since 2000. Texas still holds a 4-2 all-time advantage in the series.

Nobody in the SEC has played better the second half of the season than Texas. Certainly, no defense played better. Physical ball wins in the SEC.
