The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person is dead after a single-car crash in Greenville County. Troopers say it happened on Fork Shoals Road around 4:45 a.m. Sunday. They say a 2004 Acura sedan was heading south on Fork Shoals Road and traveled off the right side of the road, hitting a business sign and a tree.

According to Highway Patrol, the driver was traveling south on Fork Shoals Road at 4:45 a.m. The driver had traveled off the right side of the road, striking a business sign and then a tree.
