A 61-year-old James City County woman has died following a car crash in Fenton Mill Road, police said. James City County Police responded to a crash in the 4600 block of Fenton Mill Road at approximately 9 p.

At about 9 p.m., James City County (JCC) officials said they responded to the 4600 block of Fenton Mill Road after receiving reports of a crash. When they arrived on the scene, they discovered a damaged Ford Taurus in a ditch off the roadway. Two people were inside and both needed immediate medical attention.

A 61-year-old James City County woman was killed Tuesday night when the car she was riding in drove into a ditch, James City County police said.

An off-duty police sergeant was killed in a crash on a bridge that connects New Hampshire and Maine early Thursday morning, authorities said. Twenty-two vehicles were involved in a crash on the Boulevard of the Allies ramp to Oakland Thursday morning.
