Robert Bosch GmbH will reduce the working hours of about 10,000 employees in addition to massive job cuts it’s undertaking to counter a slump in demand for auto parts.

BERLIN, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Robert Bosch (ROBG.UL), the world's largest car parts supplier, will reduce the working hours and pay of around 10,000 employees in Germany, going beyond previously announced reductions and in addition to thousands of job cuts announced on Friday.

Starting in March 2025, the affected staff at the company's headquarters in Germany, will see their workweek shortened to 35 hours.

Auto parts supplier, Robert Bosch, announced that it will cut down the working hours for nearly 10,000 employees in Germany. The largest car parts supplier in the world said that this will also mean a reduction in pay for these employees.
