New England Patriots cornerback Marcus Jones wants to get more involved offensively to the point where he reached out to offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt for an opportunity.

FOXBOROUGH - Apparently, Patriots offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt didn’t get the intel on all of Marcus Jones’ talents. He wasn’t aware Jones moonlighted a bit on offense, and was effective in that role. Perhaps Van Pelt got bored watching clips of the Patriots offense from two years ago, and didn’t notice Jones being used.

While speaking to reporters on Thursday morning, Patriots offensive play-caller Alex Van Pelt validated the concerns of fans regarding his fit for the team.
