Ex-wife now accused of orchestrating murder plot in ambush killing of celebrity rehab doctor - Ahang Mirshojae is accused of ‘effectively hiring a hitman’ to kill her husband

The ex-wife of a Woodland Hills doctor — who recently wept at his memorial — hired a hitman to ambush and murder him for financial gain, prosecutors say.

The ex-wife of a doctor who was shot and killed outside his medical clinic in Woodland Hills made her first appearance in court, one day after she was charged with murder in connection with his death.

Ahang Mirshojae was scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday where she may enter a plea to charges of murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
