We booked to see a show of sitar music blended with an orchestra which was a total delight enhanced by the fantastic architecture. Full review by JRB55
Any dress tips for men please. We are attending the Magic Flute performance in January. My husband does not want to bring a suit or dress suit all the way from Australia for one night. Would a linen jacket, linen trousers and smart shirt make the grade?

Yes perfect with decent shoes and you will be fine enjoy
Hi I have been trying to book tickets to a performance at the ROHM for over a week now- the on-line booking site keeps crashing. It processes the credit card authorization, but does not complete the purchase or issue the tickets. This has happened four times now! The box office seldom answers their lines (I think they must only open sporadically) and having sent about half a dozen e-mails I eventually got one sketchy response that did not address the issue. Five days ago I finally got hold of someone who assured me that he'd made the reservation and I'd receive an e-mail, but nothing as yet. Very frustrating as I really want to visit the opera whilst I'm in Oman in January. Has anyone got any tips or fixes to suggest?

Not sure why you are having such difficulties...I went to Anna Bolena on November 30 and bought tickets online and had it all completed within 5 minutes. I then went downstairs to my concierge who printed them out for me immediately. Calling the box office definitely is not helpful, they never seem to answer. I would call the hotel and see if they can procure your tickets. It is definitely worth attending a show there. The space is beautiful and they have TV screens in front of each seat to translate what is being said. After the show stop by fauchon which is right next door for coffee and dessert. Amazing!
