You could absolutely do this. The harness holds you completely, all you really need to do is apply some pressure on the line with your hand towards the end of each zip to stop yourself.

Children between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult and must be able to participate independently of the adult. Thanks for your question. The Bretton Woods Canopy Tour is open year-round and we would love to have you join us for a tour in January. Because of the duration of the tour guest must bring with them the appropriate clothing systems for a cold environment not unlike you would wear for a day of skiing on the mountain. A layered system is best so that you can best regulate your body temperature. Avoid wearing cotton clothing as it is very cold to wear once wet. The Bretton Woods Canopy Tour will provide Yaktrax, and zip line gloves. Comfortable insulated winter boots can be rented for $5 per tour. A limited amount of winter clothing/gear is available for those who do not have what is required on the list below- please give us advanced notice as to your needs.

The the rate is $99.00 per person for public and $89.00 per person for resort guest. We look forward to flying through the trees in the White Mountains with you. Reservations are required and we are eager to answer any questions you might have.
