Walking distance from Opera House. Free entrance. Plenty of roses in different colours. Was given a map and direction to the rose garden by a friendly staff. Full review by Ng C

The gardens are a picture. The location next to the harbour makes for a great surrounding for views of the opera house and the harbour bridge. The plants are a wonder. Full review by BirdBrain99

There is no fee, which is great. It is actually more like a giant park that you walk around at your own pace. There are some plant labels, but not as many as at other botanic gardens I have been to in other countries and in the USA.

1) B441 stops in the park. It may or may not be the best for you depending on where you are coming from and where you want to get off in the park. I suggest a Google Map search or TransportNSW for more detailed information 2) The best view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge is from Mrs. Macquarie's chair. The best time of day is subjective. It's nice to see the sun set behind the Opera House, but it's also nice in the morning when the sun is shining on the Opera House for nice blue skies. 3) There is no fee to enter the park.
Can you please tell me if there are enough seats for everyone who buys tickets to the Point NYE? We are a family of 5 and really don't want to line up early as we only have a couple of days in Sydney and want to go sightseeing during the day. Do you recommend a blanket or do you think we can find a table to sit together? thanks!!!

This is on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. Be early & look for a place at the elevated area of the Botanic Park. Nov-Dec are summer months.
