Right on the Lake. The facilities are clean and nice - just like all the State Parks in Michigan. Campsites are large and easily accessed. Not far from the Dark Sky Viewing Area. Full review by jlmurvin

Watch your speed near the houses on Wilderness Park Dr. The police are very strict because kids and pets are everywhere. The park is great! Full review by megangarver

All of the hiking trails are open to biking EXCEPT Waugoshance point and any beach areas. Basically, any established trail. There are some nice flat sections and some hilly sections. Be sure to ask a ranger and note which sections may be muddy or even underwater (the eastern section of the trails can be). I am not sure about a fishing dock for Lake MIchigan. There is a pond near the nature center where we have caught panfish and bass.
