Take the long point shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. There aren't any facilities on the island, so bring plenty of water. It's a beautiful place to explore. Be careful of the poison ivy near the l… Full review by 715autumnm

We took the shuttle and enjoyed the less than 10 minutes ride. The island is beautiful with great views of Provincetown. We found a sand dollar. The lighthouse is cool, but is completely surrounded b… Full review by 715autumnm

Is it possible to take the ferry one way only returning from Long point to the pier? Thinking about walking there but returning via ferry.

It is a long distance to Long Point from Provincetown Harbor; I may have been there during high tide, but it didn't look walkable to me out to the island. I took the shuttle for $15 round trip.
Is there an address or nearby landmark that will help us find this spot?

If you stand on a bayside beach (anywhere right off commercial and look out across the water to the lighthouse about a mile to mile and a half away, that's Long Point. You get there by kayak, small ferry boat (ferries leave hourly from two peers off commercial street - $15 round trip, chairs and umbrellas for rent on the boats for $5), or you can hike for a few hours on the beach to it (not recommended). It's low crowds because it's isolated but still easy enough to get to.
