Not a dog owner and feel the signs need to be improved as saw a dog owner on that part of beach and was spotted by Council person and told. The beach near Porth Eirias is not for dogs as hundreds of adults and children use this beach and should be checked more regular. As another reviewer mentioned, there is plenty of space near the Toad Hall or further the other side near Old Colwyn where there are no parking charges.
Hi. Hoping to visit here. Is there car parking near by? Are there any facilities to eat cafe/ pub which are dog friendly and are all areas of the beach dog friendly? Many thanks.

There is parking along the promenade that runs alongside the beach with steps down to the beach. In the winter season the beach is fully dog friendly with limited areas in summer. Along the promenade are a number of small cafes which subject to checking with the owner ought to be dog friendly. I would recommend Bryn's bistro which is the big building mid way. Not for dogs inside, with outside seating area OK but the food is terrific in either cafe or the very smart restaurant. Our dogs loved the beach at Colwyn Bay. Incidentally there are many beautiful beaches around the coast here
