There are 57 steps and a small ladder at the top. It is only open around 9:00 and 9:30 in the morning because of he heat build up as there is no air conditioning and it gets quite hot inside.

The latest information that I have is that tours are Monday - Saturday (weather permitting) 9, 9:15 and 9:30. Admission: Adults $5.00 and Children 2-12 $2.00. No reservation needed. Their phone number is 228-374-3105. There is a Biloxi Visitors Center close to the lighthouse. It is a nice place to visit. They have all kinds of pamphlets and information as well as a movie. We love the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Unless we are staying in a condo; we almost always stay at the smoke free Palace Casino. The buffet is GREAT and our rooms are always GREAT as well.
