The staging and special effects were wonderful. Hands down, those were the only things that redeemed this play. The acting by the three lead characters is best described as “children’s theater” style… Full review by GPL312

I’m taking my father and my sister to see it (I’ve seen it before) in July. I’ve booked tickets on the left section of the balcony- specifically row C, they are the closest seats to the centre in that section however, I was looking through the pictures of the theatre and it seems the seats in the very back of the theatre in the centre of the balcony (Row H) may have a better view. Just wondering if anyone knows if I should bother switching the tickets, I want to give them the best experience I can afford. Thanks!

Hi. I really can't help you because I rarely sit in the balcony or mezzanine. However, no matter what theatre you're in, center row seating always provides a better overall view of the happenings on stage. It gives you a greater perspective of the play and not what's happening in the wings. Hopes this helps.
Question for those who enjoyed the play: Would it be awful to only see Part One? Or would I be lost if I only saw Part Two? Not sure if I want to spend an entire day/night at the theatr.

Sign up for the newsletter and emails. They will send you an email when tickets are to be released. If you want tickets, you have to get "in line" online the minute the tickets go on sale due to the popularity of the show. Then, you can pick your date and showtime once you are in the line IF you are lucky enough to get in. I liked the play but be sure that you have a lot of time to devote to it. The special effects are really good! Go to the website- harrypottertheplay. Be sure it is the official website and sign up.
How much time is in between part 1 and part 2? Will I have time to grab food in between? I’m so worried about being hungry! Thank you.

Hi-Make sure you don't wait too long to make a reservation. I waited until 2 days before and most restaurants were booked at 5pm. I was able to get a 5pm reservation at Da Marino (terrific pasta) on W 49th street (about 10 minute walk). We got back to the show at 7 and went in the back entrance on 42nd Street, so there was no line. Have fun!!
