There isn't a nice beach, per se, in Daisy Park, but there are spots where one can get to the water without having to wade through too much poison ivy. What the situation might be IN the water with respect to fishing gear (hooks, line), rocks, etc., I don't know, as we were there when the water was moderately high. My impression from the staff was that it was ok to swim at your own risk. It might be a little dicey. There ARE beaches and "friendlier" swimming spots in other areas, like some of the many Federal sites around the lake. There's a bona fide water park @ Crater Of Diamonds Park, nearby, as well.
