This is a beautiful venue for a concert. We saw a performance of chamber music which we much enjoyed. Old school home for culture. Full review by Potomac_11

used to go to the CSO at least twice a year. This year they increase their prices to such an extent that people are stopping going there. Including me. Full review by Mobile20945710646

We went to see a Bolero of Ravel performance and it was good. The place has a good acoustic, and medium size. However, one thing that I noticed was that the seats were a little bit old, or that’s how… Full review by Maiki90

Hello Wandering / St. Louis . . . Cabs are easy to get in front of Symphony Center, usually waiting for customers. There are also busses on Michigan Ave, the #3-King Drive, #4-Cottage Grove, going both North & South. State street is but 2 modest blocks west of Michigan Ave, and there are many busses on State, The Broadway #36, and more. The Red Line subway runs beneath State street, exit either the Monroe or Jackson stop, walk the two blocks east. There are also good hotels within an easy walk to Symphony Center. Purchase a Ventra card at any elevated or subway stop, and most Currency Exchanges. The card saves when making transfers. CTA route maps are available at any elevated /subway stop, just ask personnel on duty. BEST SEATS: Highly recommend getting the highest balcony, although steep, lowest price, best sound and view. Access via 6th floor, ushers are very helpful. Enjoy the concert.

Tesori is more pricey and you would need reservations. Miller's Pub has been around forever and gets very busy, but has comfort food and is reasonably priced. The Berghof is a classic in Chicago, but you would need reservations. The Goddess and the Baker is at 33 S. Wabash is a bit more of a walk - a block- but has decent sandwiches, salads, desserts and great coffee.
