The women and men of the Communications division are trained to remain calm and composed while dealing with highly stressed individuals. Their duty is to receive information from the public and transmit it to the appropriate department, be it police, fire, or EMS. The Communications Division is the epitome of multi-tasking.
Administration - Senecapd
Our Administration Unit includes both the Command team that operates Seneca Police Department, and Administrative personnel that support this Command team. The Command Staff has an extensive experience base with many years in law enforcement.
Uniform Patrol - Senecapd
The Uniform Patrol unit is the most recognized face of Seneca Police Department. This unit consists of the officers that are tasked with the priority of answering calls for service, initiating reports, preliminary investigations, and proactive enforcement of both local and state ordinances.

Seneca Police Department's staff consist of more than 45 personnel; 35 of which are sworn and the remainder being civilian. Seneca Police Department is located in the heart of historic downtown Seneca.
SPD Traffic Unit - Senecapd
The Seneca Police Department currently has one officer, that is normally assigned to Uniform Patrol duties, that also participates in the Traffic Safety programs such as the Law Enforcement Network (LEN) Traffic and the Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic (HEAT) programs.
