Samsung One Remote to Operate TiVo Roamio
May 31, 2018 · Tivo stays on all the time, and connected HDMI to Samsung. One Remote Power on, will use CEC to turn on Denon, and will control Denon Volume and send Audio ARC to Denon for both TV Apps and Tivo. My question is can the One Remote control Tivo over CEC. I have it somewhat controlling via IR, but Tivo is in Cabinet, so it has to remain open.
Can TiVo remote go to TiVo HDMI input on smart Samsung TV?
Mar 14, 2021 · The premier's remote controls the TV volume and power on/off but not the HDMI input switching. Should it? I have to use the Samsung remote to get to the TIVO input. The Samsung also has a Roku connected and a Playstation connected. The Roku remote turns on the Samsung and it defaults to the Roku HDMI, ready to watch content.

Have tried all codes offered up on Tivo Screen and also approach where Remote circulates through all codes. If anyone has had success in doing this pairing, can they indicate the code used or the process that worked. Thanks

My Samsung soundbar (a different model) has a feature called "Auto Power Link"--when it is set to "on" (the default), the Samsung TV turns the soundbar on when the TV is turned on (when the 2 are connected by optical cable) and, I presume, then passes on the audio signal.

Dec 19, 2007 · Yeah, on the original (I think) Tivo remote, I used code 0305 for my Samsung LN52A750 LCD TV 52". Among the ones I tried, it was the only code that allowed "press and hold" control of the volume. Code 0092, however, required me to press the volume key repeatedly to change the volume by more than 1 notch.

So far it looks like Cablevision is providing Samsung SMT-C5320 models and Time Warner is providing Samsung SMT h3262 models. When setting up TiVo to control these cable boxes via IR, if the user selects Samsung as the brand of cable box, the IR control will not work.
