Apr 12, 2021 · I should clarify. It wasn't completely out of the blue. During the weekend I swapped out my Z490 Ace for a b460 mobo cause I couldn't boot, so I thought the mobo is the issue. Turns out it was a faulty hard drive that didn't allow the mobo to boot (crazy as it is). So I put my z490 ace back in the case and from then on the problem started.

Nov 27, 2020 · Again, let me clarify here in that from what I read, some Z490 boards had underpinnings for PCIE4 though no official support as yet. If not I'll retain the 980 for a new 590 board this spring. Perhaps from MSI, can these boards run any PCI4 SSDs now or with a future BIOS update when Rocket Lake is avail, good discussion found here,

Sep 6, 2020 · I just built my new PC and, after installing all required drivers from the MSI Support link on MSI.com, I realized that the "Realtek Audio Console" mentioned in the motherboard Manual is missing. The Support screen suggests updating Nahimic 3 from Microsoft store (?!).

Sep 24, 2020 · The CPU can ramp up the voltage and current within nanoseconds. That's not the problem. Unless of course your PSU is not up to par.

Apr 27, 2021 · For Z490, only the MSI MEG Z490 Unify and the MSI MEG Z490 ACE have a Flash BIOS button. Only this method allows updating the BIOS without a compatible CPU (for Z590, pretty much all MSI boards have a Flash BIOS button).

I've been messing around with the RTL/IOLs and I've noticed some stuff that needs improving/fixing. I'm using the latest bios before anyone asks. 1. The IOL offset doesn't do much for the IOLs.
