May 6, 2009 · It can definitely cause groin pain from my experience. I had a laminectomy with fusion of L4-L5 last November. Prior to my surgery I was having right sided groin pain to the point that I thought I might have an ovarian cyst. During my work up I actually had a pelvic US to rule out pelvic problems.

Sep 11, 2006 · I also had hip pain after I pulled a muscle but I found the easiest thing in the world to correct it when you lie down. Place a small pillow between your knees (Of course it works only if you are a side sleeper). This aligns your hips. By putting the knee up it stops the pulling/pressure on your hip. Good luck.

When constipated, this can cause compression or trapping of the sciatic nerve and you can very well have lower back pain in the lumbar region that spreads down the side of the hip and to the side of the knee and behind it and sometimes as far down as the calf and into the foot.

Jan 10, 2008 · I have right hip pain.. at least thats what I think it is. My hip area is so sore to touch. My back aches on that same side too. Then every once in a while I get this(as best as I can describe it) shooting/pinching pain that run down my inner thigh to my groin. The only relief I get is by getting off my feet. It is awful when it happens.

Sep 1, 2006 · Two months ago I began having significant pain in the front of my left hip (maybe more towards groin area), it's impossible to sit "indian-style" and it has popped a couple of times when stepping into my car which has caused excruciating pain! As long as I walk normally I don't have much pain, but if I rotate it hurts like crazy.

I'm having a problem in my right groin and hip.I can't cross my leg...have to be careful if I'm turning to walk to my right.I've had micro discectomy on L3L4 4 years ago...and I have bulging L4L5 and herniated L5S1.MRI did not show the L5S1 problem but a discogram showed clearly.

I attend water exercise classes 3 times a week but still am limited when walking distance. Starting to feel some depression because of my limitations and the constant groin pain.
