3 bottom plow- I have 2 questions! - Yesterday's Tractors
Mar 31, 2017 · If you have 1 14" bottom it can be set and work on any of the 3 width settings, 12" bottom will also work on all settings but not good on 16" setting, 16" bottom will work on 14" setting but not on 12" setting. And correct plowing depth for the bottom if 1/2 the with for depth or 6" for a 12" bottom, 7" for a 14" bottom and 8" for a 16" bottom.

Nov 26, 2017 · Here is some info on how big of a tractor for a 3pt. 3-14" plow. I plowed a 60'x100' for a garden today. This was a garden 5-6 years ago but was put back as a yard so all sod. It was wet and heavy, not muddy. I had the plow set up right and plowed 6"-7" deep. Well I used my Ford 5000, fluid in rear tires and a loader. It was all it wanted to pull!

Aug 6, 2015 · From the parts site, that looks to be a category II only plow and the 3 bottom setup was the smallest configuration it came with, and it went up to 6 bottoms. Plus it only came with 16 or 18 inch bottoms so it will take a bit of power even if you drop it down to 2 bottoms.
