Is a computer science degree still worth it 2024 and beyond?
Basically because everything is adjacent to CS. From applied mathematics , ML , data analysis , teaching, history, law, medicine, risk analysis, banking , there are exceptionally few industries that do not involve computer science or computer engineering as something that would be augmented by some aspects fo CS study.

The hardest part imo about a CS major is that a lot of the people who go into it don't expect there to be as much math as there is. A CS major is basically a math major in disguise. Especially the theory.
