Earth’s Eye - Alan Michelson
A Public Art Fund-sponsored installation on the site of the Collect, a buried pond in lower Manhattan, consisting of forty markers arranged in the shape of the pond as it appears on old maps. Each marker contains a relief cast referring to the natural and social history of the pond.
