Oct 24, 2023 · My processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor. When I restart/turn on my PC I get a message that says "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. How do I get rid of this message? I don't see why having an AMD graphics driver is important if I don't have anything AMD related for my graphics.

I'm having the same issue too on Windows 11. I removed all existing files and started again and watched the C:\AMD\Chipset_Software\ folder. For most of the process the C:\AMD\Chipset_Software\Binaries\ folder didn't even exist until nearly the very end. Something is going wrong with the decompress/moving process.

Oct 24, 2023 · I downloaded the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Diagnostic tool (soon to be deprecated). I chose the option with trouble installing and removed all listed AMD lines. Unfortunately, I had to restart that tool to remove each AMD program or line. Windows Defender was disabled before re-installing the AMD_Chipset_Drivers again.

Jul 24, 2024 · I would compare the latest AMD CHIPSET driver package from AMD with any of the other OEM AMD CHIPSET DRiVER packages. Download both the AMD CHIPSET Drivers and ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI etc CHIPSET Drivers. Use 7-Zip to unpack the .exe file. Open the AMD and OEM AMD folders and go to INFO.XML file and click on it.

Feb 10, 2024 · Yes, the "AMD chipset software" exe from this link is exactly the program that refuses to run on my system. Same as the version on the ASUS website. As for uninstalling, this is my issue. The article suggests reinstalling again at the bottom, which is what is not working
