The code peeled off with the sticker on my $20 Steam card?
Jan 19, 2014 · I received a steam gift card from Best Buy for Christmas and I accidentally scratched off some of the numbers on the 15 digit code. Steam and Best Buy could not help me but I noticed on the back of the card it said "Powered by FastCard".

A few months ago, for the Steam sale, I got a few $20 dollar Steam Wallet cards. In a rush, I accidentally scratched off the first two portions of the Steam Wallet code. My local retailer would not let me return the card, and Steam support has not replied with any help.

Why are people spending almost $40 for a $20 steam card? This is ridiculous. Never buy steam cards off Amazon. To be fair, buying eShop cards for my Switch has always worked so far and I've always gotten redeemable codes. You probably could have gotten them at Walmart or something for $16. EXACT. SAME. BRAND 🤣🤣🤣🤣. But why, tho?
HELP! I just bought a $20 Steam card and it Wont work
Dec 4, 2022 · The store has to activate that card (different code not hidden by the scratch-off). You could go back and exchange it saying this one is broken. I'm certain they have a way to validate if its been "used", but they really have to toss that card off since its been scratched.

Dec 21, 2020 · if a 3rd party site sold you a $20 card that only redeems for $15, then you got scammed by that site, you need to take it up with them. nothing steam can do for you and you should find a legit site to get your codes from.

It's not. The community market is made by the community (shocking) Probably no one else put the card on the market (or only a few) and they just put it as 20$. I once saw someone put a background for multiple 100$ for the exact same reason. Backgrounds in general used to be overpriced as emoticons (not all but a few) glad the pointshop exists.
