Is it worth it to 'upgrade' to the PS5 version of The Witcher 3?
Personally after trying The Witcher 3 for PS5 I would never even consider it as an option unless I didn't have a PC capable of playing it. The PS5 version has a lot of texture pop in both in the distance and right in front of the player with the vegetation and it's still present even in patch 4.03 but much better.

Aug 5, 2023 · Witcher 3 is one of my fav all time games. I beat it twice including NG+ on PC years ago. It's been 3 years since I last played. My PC experience was a little watered down cause my hardware was crap. I just got a PS5 and notice they upgraded it late last year.

Nov 18, 2023 · Play it again and be patient with it, cyberpunk graphics are better but witcher 3 story is better, still you will feel that it's a CDPR game because of the way the story and characters unfold, cdpr are great storytellers despite the bugs. Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk are my top two rpg games in that order

Nov 14, 2020 · Now we come to Witcher 3 running on PS5 which is basically perfect compared to PS4 Pro. The sharp and clean checkerboard 4K resolution with HDR is the same but now the framerate is perfect. For example, I galloped through Crookback Bog with zero issues. No fps drops, no stutters, and no screen tearing! Load times were basically cut in half as well.
