The Yellowstone Plateau Volcanic Field, also known as the Yellowstone Supervolcano or the Yellowstone Volcano, is a complex volcano, volcanic plateau and volcanic field located mostly in the western U.S. state of Wyoming, but it also stretches into Idaho and Montana.

The Yellowstone Plateau Volcanic Field forms the high continental divide between the northern and middle Rocky Mountains. The average elevation of the plateau is about 2,400 m (7,900 ft) and is surrounded on all sides but the southwest by mountainous terrain with peaks that reach 3,000-4,000 m (10,000 - 13,000 ft).
