LG "On Screen Control" software is sluggish and always get stuck
Jan 9, 2022 · Raised a case with LG and they just replied with “turn the monitor off, leave for 30 seconds and plug back in”. Pathetic, my other LG monitor a 5k ultra fine also had control issues, resulting with a board change. At first LG wouldn’t change it saying “ it’s out of support” despite the monitor being 6 months old.
LG's OnScreen Control problems - Anybody use this software?

BUT I have upgraded to Monterey from Big Sur this week and LG on screen control (OSC) has stopped splitting the screen. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but in vain.

Just got a 35WN65C from Costco. Brilliant monitor - but the software does not indicate the Onscreen Control works for this. But it does. Follow what M4tic says below. Worked for me, and now I have the screen splits.

LG offers a program called OnScreen Control that seems to do everything EXCEPT change the inputs, so this may have to be 3rd party. Maybe this is a big ask, but I’m hoping.
