Dec 30, 2018 · I had to hobble along back to my car. I haven’t gotten them glued back together. But that would be my option for the summer. Except there tends to be a lot of wild hog excrement in the river and feeder creeks when the water isn’t flowing much. It gets pretty nasty and I hate the thought of walking in it with those in stagnant pools. Yuck!

Dec 15, 2024 · Googling around I can see why that's a good match. I'll likely be going back later this winter to see if I can find anything else that might confirm that. There s a decent list of inverts from the Nestucca so I hope in can find at least one match. Most are bivalves and mollusks and I haven't compared genera or species between the 2 yet.

Nov 9, 2024 · I haven’t used that microscope. I started with a cheap fixed magnification scope from Amscope. It worked decently well for a long time. When I started prepping professionally, I upgraded to an OC White Pro Zoom PZE 4.5 extended working distance scope. My general advice would be to buy a scope that fits your budget and the work you’re doing.
