Right now with what I need to focus on in real life I was lucky to find a DVC 80 on eBay for about $10. Unfortunately as I later learned it may not be compatible with Windows 10. I was just wondering if it was possible to get it working before I give up and wait a while longer for the chance to buy something better. Thank you

Windows 7 recognized the device but couldn't auto find a driver, so I installed the driver from Pinnacle that works fine on the latest version of XP. I tried (in Windows 7) to capture video from a Hi8 camcorder using software that works with the Dazzle 80 in XP.

From time to time they remove or put back some part of the kernel that fuck up your device. It might come back in a future update. Your best bet is to find a working system and never update it. I’m sorry but the Dazzles are about to go extinct.
