Mar 5, 2020 · If your USB-C is really a Thunderbolt 3 port, it should work. Insert the "Thunderbolt-3 to Thunderbolt-2" adapter. It would get installed as a "base system tool". It may get a "no driver installed" warning in Device Manager, but it still works; Now insert the Thunderbolt-2 to Firewire adapter. It should be installed automatically.
