Some users told their smart chargers detect a NiMH battery as a Li-ion battery. The charger should be able to differentiate between NiMH and Li-Ion batteries. So why? More infornations sharing below. I'm thinking seriously about the smaller 18650 Anker battery pack...but it would be really convenient if the thing had a place to hook a lanyard or d-ring so I could just hang it off my phone case and protect the USB port.
