Colman Domingo is set to make his feature directorial debut with “Scandalous,” a period drama about the 1950’s romance between movie star Kim Novak and singer Sammy Davis Jr., and the bigoted scrutiny that the pair faced once their affair came to light.

Sydney Sweeney is set to star in a Miramax drama titled Scandalous. The actress will be teaming up with her Euphoria co-star Colman Domingo, who will serve as the project’s director. The film will be the feature directorial debut of Domingo.

Colman Domingo is getting into the director’s chair for the first time for Scandalous. The movie will come from Miramax and has been fast-tracked to start production. Deadline is reporting that Domingo is planning to start filming after completing season 3 of Euphoria and he’ll be bringing along his co-star Sydney Sweeney along for the film.
