No. 12 Notre Dame secured a crucial 51-14 win against No. 24 Navy Saturday, extending the winning streak against its old rival to seven games and logging another crucial bullet point on its College Football Playoff résumé.

With the help of six Navy turnovers, Notre Dame rolled to a 51-14 win Saturday, handing the Midshipmen their first loss of the season.

Navy came into the game ranked 24th and unbeaten. It never stood a chance against Notre Dame, falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter. The Midshipmen had six turnovers, losing five fumbles. After two games against schools from the ACC, Notre Dame will play Army on Nov. 23 at Yankee Stadium. Army is also undefeated.
