I wouldn't class it as a roller-coaster but you are thrown about a little. But you are really strapped in and you kind of forget about it once the ride gets going. But there are a few moments that are sudden or make you jump though. I'm afraid most of the rides except the train journey too and from each park are rapid in the Harry potter sections.
