HI I am going to Cornwall in July and am thinking of doing this walk with my kids. However, as I dont drive, will be doing this all via buses and trains. Any pointers on if we can do the sennen cove walk one way and then take a bus / train back ? Also, is making Penzance a base to travel be a good idea?

Penzance is a good base to explore from - on our website and our app you'll find ideas for a 1-7 day break based around Penzance (I not allowed to add a weblink - so google search for 'south west coast path wild west itinerary' and it should take you to it)

Hi. Sennan Cove to Land's End is a relatively gentle walk along the coast. From Sennan Cove you go up the only steepish bit to the National Trust observation post, then it's gently undulating 45 minutes to an hour to the complex. Whilst there is little restriction about where you can go, there are paths that don't get too close to the cliffs if you are a little squeamish over the height. Stick to any of the paths though and you'll be perfectly safe and enjoy some stunningly beautiful scenery.
Are they quite good paths to lands end from sennen cove

The best route is from seenen to lands end. The first climb is steps to the cliff tops then a undulating walk to lands end. It's a well walked path and is on the south west coast path. There is plenty to see and you won't get lost. As with all coast paths there is no fencing etc just nature as it should be. To give you an idea my 6 yr old daughter managed the walk with no problems.
